as accustomed am i
to flights of fancy
as when moonlight enters my window
slips between my sheets
so surprised was i
when she appeared at my front door
and (yes) she brought her own sheets
so unprepared for such stark reality
was i
but it came complete
with candlelight, salad, egg rolls
and wine
but most of all
to my infinite delight
it came with her, my beloved moonlight...

I love to sleep with you
quite literally, I mean
to close our eyes
and set adrift...
never have i so felt
that all is right with the world
than to awake, with you by my side
I culd spend an eternity
in an endless cycle
of drifting off then awakening
with you
I do think i have found
a moment of heavens perfection
a cycle of divine grace

"The Original Impulses of the heart
are always good
so that we may confidently follow them"
but if that is so
why then do we doubt
have anxiety
like a runaway freight train
leading us to disaster
ego
intervenes, assumes command
but for all its bravado
it really has no clue
has no idea which path is true
in its stead, we may discover
awaken
to what is ours by Natural Birthright
an Innocence, child-like in its virtue
and by devotion to the divine spirit within
we can lay claim to
an "unsullied innocence...an instinctive certainty"
which inhabits each and every moment
ego we must disengage
for it takes us out of the moment
wherein is divine guidance...
heart-felt impulses flowing from heaven

dissolve the obstructions
undo the bindings
by which i have sought to avod lifes pain
its better to suffer a little pain
than a lifetime of numbness
